A sophisticated celebration of approximately 50 guests, held at the I Hotel. We invite you to join us for an intimate gathering in Champaign, Illinois.
Ceremony
3:00 PM
Doors close promptly at 3:00 PM. Guests arriving after that time will be admitted after the ceremony.
Reception
Reception to follow. Following the ceremony, please remain with us at the I Hotel as we continue the celebration.
Formal Attire
We invite our guests to celebrate with us in formal attire. Elegant evening dresses, sophisticated cocktail-length gowns, suits, and ties are appropriate for this intimate evening.
Our Story
Some of the most beautiful stories begin in the most unexpected places.
Ours began in 2021 at the EIU Library—with a simple meeting neither of us could have known would become the beginning of something so meaningful.
What started as a chance encounter slowly became a connection, and that connection grew into a love that has shaped both of our lives. Through laughter and unforgettable memories, growing pains and challenges, celebrations and quiet everyday moments, we've learned what it means to truly know, support, and choose one another.
Our journey hasn't simply been about falling in love. It's been about growing in love—learning together, building together, and continuing to choose each other through every season.
From two people who happened to cross paths in a library to two people preparing to stand before the people they love and promise each other forever, every chapter has brought us closer to this moment.
On June 12, 2027, we'll begin a new chapter—not simply as Brysen and Erykah, but as husband and wife.
And as meaningful as our journey has already been, we believe the best part of our story is still ahead.
We can't wait to celebrate the beginning of forever surrounded by the family and friends who have loved us, supported us, and helped make our story even more beautiful.
